| The Echo Park Encounters... Here it is finally, maybe I have the willpower to complete this account. I'd start at the end, but of course there isn't one. The contact continues to this day, not as frequent, but it is here. I have three new babies, one 2 years old and twins 1 year old. They show the signs, especially the two year old. He has unnatural fears that develop seemingly overnight, things that he had no fear of what soever the day before. Things like a hand tool in a certain shape, one day the vacumn cleaner, things he has been around forever and had no fear of will terrify him overnight. I can always talk him through it and slowly it becomes OK again. December 15th, 1999... Five years ago to the day, the house at 1509 Landa St. burned to the ground. I was just coming back from my shift at BOARDNER'S in Hollywood as "Security" or as some might say, in the mix "for real". It was an easy night , no fights, no guns, just simple business... Until I hit the last lap home, Riverside Drive to Stadium Way. There they were... Fire Engines, my path blocked. I hit the brakes on the Jaguar, hoping for the best, but fearing for the worst. It's a long story, but let's just say the events of the prior night gave me a hint of what was to come. |
