                                    "THE KENNEDY ASSASSINATION CONSPIRACY"

                                                          PREFACE

The report being introduced is the first in a series of hard-hitting , fact-filled exposures of the real people
and causes behind some of the most important events in our history. You will find it goes far beyond just
making accusations and throwing names around; rather it cuts through all the deception and penetrates
right to the heart of the cover-up. In doing so, vital new evidence is brought to your attention, along with
the identites of the hidden culprits responsible for the dirty deeds.

Investigative journalism today in America has mostly become a field in which reporters wait around for
someone with an axe to grind to call them and spill the beans. Very often these "tips" are about scandalous
personal matters instead of the truth behind the actions and events that deeply affect all of oue lives. In
other words, we get all sorts of news stories about the women President Kennedy supposedly slept with,
but none about the men who plotted his murder.

Another part of the problem is that mainstream news organizations demand immediate results and none
are willing to invest the time and energy it takes to crack through the walls of secrecy that protect
conspiracies. Instead of acknowledning these shortcomings,the news reporters and broadcasters
invalidate attempts by outsiders to unravel the secret plots, often dismissing them as "wild conspiracy
theories" or "conspiracy nuts." The end result is a misinformed public, badly served by the supposed
watchdogs in the news media entrusted to protect it from abuse and deceit. In many cases--and in the
Kennedy Assassination in particular--not only didn't the watchdog bark, it often looked the other way
while a grand deception scheme was carried out.

The remainder of the problem can be traced to the fact a number of leading news organizations have
been infiltrated by CIA operatives from the Agency's Psychological Warfare Staff, probably the CIA's
most secretive entity. These 'moles' are usually established as reporters or writers before they are
inducted into the covert cult,although a few are agents first, utilizing a news person identity as a cover for
espionage. Once established inside news media, the psychological warfare ops often appear to have
"sources" within the intelligence community, while at the same time maintaining a safe distance from the
CIA's structure. A highly-influential operative within the Time-Life Corp., for example, claimed to be a
personal friend of a legendary CIA Director, which supposedly explained where he got his scoops. His
CIA mentor and the founding chief of the Psychological Warfare Staff, Joseph Bryan III, a highly
regarded writer and editor, told me in a 1977 interview he had never set foot in Langley, the CIA's Hqs.
Bryan also implored me not to reveal his secret life--not because it would embarrass him,but because it
would embarrass his beloved CIA.

In the end, the people will demand to know: How can we prevent these terrible tragedies from
happening in the future? Some will say "disband the CIA;" others will call for Congressional action. But
what we really need in this country is a true watchdog, a skeptical, questioning news media that isn't so
caught up in its own image projection and power position it feels severely threatened when someone else
reports the truth it failed to see.

Without truly independent news organizations that are willing to consider the unthinkable and utter the
unspeakable, you end up with Orwellian scenarios such as the Kennedy Assassination in which the facts
are changed to incriminate the innocent and protect the guilty. Thus, history becomes nothing more than a
smoke screen of lies, behind which secret power groups can manipulate and orchestrate events for their
own benefit.

The role of the CIA's Psychological Warfare operatives in the mind-boggling assassination cover-up is
just one of a number of startling revelations in the full report. Other new evidence will include:

      Details of Lee Harvey Oswald's counter-intelligence missions in behalf of the CIA:

       The CIA's solitary confinement and drugging of a KGB defector suspected of knowing the truth
       about Oswald;

        An entirely new perspective of the Mafia's ancillary role in the assassination;

         Photographic proof of a key CIA agent's mission as on-site chief of the assassination operation.

  The research that made these revelations possible took place over a period of twenty-plus years. At no
time, however, was there a "deep-throat-type" source, or any circumstance in which supposed sources
came forward to spread their own variations of the purported facts. Every detail was doggedly hunted
down and rooted out, then cross-checked with other evidence, including reliable literature and
documentary sources. The standards applied are even more rigid and uncompromising than what passes as
award-winning investigative journalism. And let assure you I am more concerned with earning your trust
than with winning any award.

                                                 INTRODUCTION

The future of the United States of America was changed forever on Nov. 22, 1963, when a small but
powerful group of fanatical officials within the Central Intelligence Agency carried out their plan to murder
President John F. Kennedy in Dallas, Texas.

   The killing, however, was blamed on Lee Harvey Oswald, a supposedly "lone nut" assassin.* Then
only 22, Oswald had enlistedin the Marine Corps at 17, and after completing his service he had defected
to the Soviet Union. a couple of years later, he returned to the U.S. as mysteriously as he had left it, even,
though in the U.S.S.R. he had received special treatment and was accorded a higher living standard than
he would ever have in the U.S.A.. He brought with him his Soviet wife, Marina, and their baby daughter.

   *It should be noted that Oswald, if we accept the government's version, would be the only "nut-type"
assassin to murder an important leader from a distance with a rifle. Every other "nut" has fired from close
range with a pistol. And right there is where all the suspicion starts.

     After scuttling around for several months in Dallas, Oswald suddenly moved by himself to New
Orleans, where he began openly supporting Fidel Castro, often making a spectacle of himself by handing
out "Fair Play for Cuba" literature to passersby on the streets and to U.S. sailors disembarking their ship
while in port. These strange actions took place in a city noted for its anti-Castro activities and plots.

    Just before returning to Dallas, Oswald purportedly made a trip to Mexico, ostensibly in an attempt to
defect to Cuba. Rejected by the Cubans, he instead found a job in Dallas filling orders for school books.
Several weeks later it would turn out his place of employment was on a street President Kennedy would
pass by on during a visit to the city. Purportedly perched on the sixth floor of the building as Kennedy
rode past, Oswald was said to have used a rickety old Italian rifle to fire three shots at the President, one
traversing JFK's neck and another nearly blowing his head off.

    Not only was the scenario of Oswald's life filled with incongruities and strange developments (such as
sudden ability to speak, read and write Russian like a native), but it came out that Oswald was a
notoriously bad shot*, unable to even hit the basic target during Marine training. In Russia he had joined
a hunting club, but his fellow members had to shoot small game for him so he wouldn't feel humiliated.

  *While agreeing that Oswald was a poor marksman, in 1964 the Warren Commission (the distinguished
panel appointed by President Lyndon Johnson to investigate the assassination) contended Oswald was
able to overcome his marksmanship deficiencies by using the rifle's telescopic sight, stating this made the
otherwise difficult shots at a moving target "easy." But it was revealed later that the scope was so badly
mounted it would have thrown way off any shots aimed through it. Acknowledging the scope's problems,
the chief investigator for the U.S. House Assassinations Committee claimed in 1980 that Oswald had
igrored the scope and aimed through the rifle's open sights, contending this would have made the shots
"easy." In typical fashion, Oswald was damned if he did and damned if he didn't.

  Curiously, Oswald could have walked into any place in Dallas that sold guns and bought as fine a
weapon as he could afford without so much as having to leave his name. Instead, he supposedly ordered
one through the mail, an ancient Italian military blunderbuss noted only for its basic unreliability and
inaccuracy. But the process did establish what seemed to be a clear link between him and the rifle found
on the sixth floor of the School Book Depository after Kennedy was killed,since the rifle was easily
traced to a mail order firm which happened to still have Oswald's purported order form on hand.

  Even more suspiciously, the three shell casings found near the rifle and the one unexpended round in
the chamber were, evidently, the only bullets Oswald possessed. No other ammo was found in various
law enforcement searches, nor was there any indication he had ever practiced with the weapon.* Yet,in
tests conducted later a number of top rifle marksmen were unable to duplicate the Dallas shooting feat
within the verifiable time limitations established by the Zapruder film (a home movie shot by a civilian
bystander), even with properly mounted scopes, substantial practice and unlimited ammunition.

* In other words, according to the Warren Commission Oswald decided to attempt one of history's most
shocking murders with only four bullets in his possession, without ever practicing with a mail-order rifle
with a useless telescopic sight and with a background of not being able to hit the broadside of a barn
during firing tests.

    More importantly, whether or not Oswald actually did any shooting on Nov. 22, 1963, in Dallas is
almost irrelevant in light of other, more compelling evidence. To start with, there is absolutely no doubt
Oswald was in reality a highly secret undercover CIA operative. Courageous to the point of being
foolhardy, the real Oswald was so dedicated and determined to fulfill his missions he subjected himself to
a life of grave danger, poverty and ridicule in order to carry them out. These unsettling new facts will
become readily apparent in the main body of the full report.
                                                                                  :

   Oswald's connections to the CIA did not begin or end in New Orleans, where he was observed in the
company of CIA contract pilot David Ferrie and operative Guy Banister, a front-man for anti-Castro
activities. In truth, Oswald hung out with CIA people wherever he went. But these small potatoes were
nothing compared to the high-level CIA offical in Washington,DC, who actually ran* Oswald: the
powerful and mysterious head of the CIA's Counterintelligence Division, James Jesus Angleton.

* The term "ran," as it relates to Angleton, refers to the act of controlling, manipulating or giving orders
to a field operative by utilizing intermediaries known as "cut-outs." Angleton "ran" any number of people
who spied for him without ever coming in direct contact with them, or, in some cases, without the spies
even knowing of his existence. In this manner, Angleton could orchestrate chains of events without ever
having to take responsibility for any of the consequences.

   Then there are some rather obvious and important points about the shooting itself which have been
mostly overlooked. For example, the majority of the Secret Service agents riding in President Kennedy's
car or the follow-up vehicle directly behind it testified they heard one shot, then a pause of about five
seconds, then two shots in rapid succession. Most of the agents stated the last two shots seemed to come
from in front of Kennedy, so they scanned the overpass directly ahead, searching for the gunman.

   The last shot blew the President's skull apart, sending fragments flying out the rear of the limousine!
Since the vehicle was only traveling at eight to ten miles per hour at the time, it seems unlikely the speed
of the car had the effect of sending bones flying out the back. If the shot had come from the so-called
"sniper's nest" on the sixth floor of the School Book Depository (Oswald's purported position), which
was high to extreme right rear of the motorcade, it's more probable the impact of the bullets would have
sent Kennedy's head fragments flying into the front seat from his rear seat position or even against the
windshield. Instead, Jackie Kennedy crawled out onto the trunk in the rear in a vain attempt to retrieve
her husband's brains and bones.

   Astoundingly, when the fatal shot struck, a Dallas police officer on a motorcycle on the left rear side of
the President's limo was hit with blood and brain matter with such force he thought he had been shot as
well. The motorcycle officer can clearly be seen in photos taken by AP photographer James Altgens and
civilian bystander Mary Moorman. The latter photo, believed to have been snapped just after the fatal shot,
shows the motorcycle and the President directly aligned with the wall behind the grassy knoll (right-front
of the motorcycle), the position from which it has long been believed the real assassin did the firing.*

* In the press conference at Parkland Hospital in Dallas shortly after Kennedy's death, a spokesman for
the attending doctors indicated the fatal bullet had struck the President in the right front part of his skull
and exited out the rear,thereby futher confirming the alignment between the grassy knoll wall, Kennedy and
the motorcycle officer.

   The motorcycle officer's testimony was given to the Warren Commission and it was not disputed, just
ignored. The two photos have been widely reprinted. Yet, for some reason this evidence has never become
a substantial part of the case against the Warren Commission's indictment of Oswald as the lone assassin.
Nor has anyone explained how a shot from a supposed right rear elevation could result in blood and brain
matter being hurled at such an opposite angle, as though the force had made a U-turn somehow and jetted
back toward the rear. If such a thing could happen, shooters would have to be wary of being hit by their
own bullets.

    This is even more of a dubious one-in-a-billion happenstance than the "Magic Bullet" theory invented
by Arlen Specter.* Coupled with the photographic evidence of the Zapruder film, which shows Kennedy
being slammed backward (to the rear) by the force of the fatal shot and the 30-some witnesses who thought
the shots originated from the grassy knoll area, it would seem to strongly indicate if not prove a conspiracy
took place.
                                                                              :

    *The rifle found on the sixth floor of the Depository had ostensibly been fired three times, since three
shells were found beside it. Irrefutable witnesses established at least one shot missed, striking the road
pavement. Therefore, the Warren Commission had to account for all the wounds with just two shots,
including a bullet that hit Texas Gov. John Connally, riding in the same limo with JFK, wounding him in
the chest, leg and wrist. Arlen Specter, then an assistant to the Commission (now a U.S. Senator and a
past Presidential candidate) formulated a fantastic theory that Connally was hit by the same bullet that
had struck Kennedy in the throat. This bullet, found nearly completely intact on a stretcher at Parkland
Hospital, became known as the "Magic Bullet" because it supposedly caused severe damage to two men
yet wasn't even compressed.

     Unfortunately, if you have followed the Kennedy Assassination controversy over the years you
know it's more complicated than the simple solution indicated by the physical evidence of the shooting
scene, which appears to leave no doubt that Kennedy was shot from the grassy knoll location. The major
problem that prevents a resolution in favor of a conspiracy is the fact the existing autopsy evidence
strongly supports the Warren Commission's contention that the President was shot from the rear, thereby
incriminating Oswald, owner of the rifle found in the Depository, as the lone gunman.

     But how can this be ??? Well, the problem is actually more complex than that, as author/researcher
David Lifton articulated in his book, Best Evidence. Lifton demonstrates there were three sets of
contradiciting observations of Kennedy's wounds: First, those made by most of the doctors and nurses
who attended Kennedy at Parkland Hospital in Dallas and clearly saw two front entry/rear exit wounds;
then the rear entry wounds observed during the autopsy at Bethesda Naval Hospital, DC, primarily by Dr.
James Humes; and lastly the improved rear entry wounds shown now by the X-rays and photos taken
during or after the autopsy. In other words, Oswald got more guilty as time went on.

     Lifton theorizes pistol shots and surgery were utilized by the conspirators to reverse the wounds once
JFK was taken to Washington. It is established that Kennedy's body arrived at Bethesda around 7 PM and
didn't leave there for the White House until 4 AM, leaving nine hours for someone to reverse the wounds
and incriminate Oswald as the patsy--assuming, of course, the President's body was actually in the closed
casket displayed at the Capitol and later buried at Arlington.

    Lifton's book is not an easy read, nor is his theory easy to swallow. But one must bear in mind the
conspirators knew the real assassin would shoot from the grassy knoll, the best position from which to
fire at the President, while the patsy Oswald would seem to have fired from the rear. Therefore, they
would have known going in the need for post-assassination reversal of wounds and would have had a
plan in place to handle it. Also, it should be noted here the CIA people involved in the plot were adept
at disguises and phony credentials, courtesy of the CIA's Technical Services Division, and it would have
been relatively simple for them to infiltrate Bethesda and gain access to Kennedy's body.

  Initially, Dan Rather of CBS was the only newsman allowed to view the Zapruder film. which had
already been purchased by Time-Life Corp. and would then be out of circulation for a number of years.
By the time Rather made his on-air report, Oswald had been captured and the Depository "sniper's nest"
discoveered. But Rather was able to square the "sniper's nest" rear location with the Dallas doctors' front
entry observations by reporting the Zapruder film showed the President turning his head to the rear so as
to face his assassin when he was shot. The trouble is that Rather's claim was an outright and total lie: the
film, in fact, clearly shows Kennedy facing the front as the bullets strike.*

* This does not necessarily mean that Rather was part of the conspiracy. But it does strongly underline
just how emphatic the Dallas doctors were about Kennedy's wounds being front entrance/rear exit. Bear in
mind they simply objectively reported what they saw, having no need to reconcile their observations with
the yet-to-be-found "sniper's nest." Most likely, the Bethesda pathologists were similarly honest and
objective, but then one presumes Kennedy's body had been altered so as to make it appear the President
was shot from the rear. About the same time,Oswald, as he was being led into jail, was telling the press in
Dallas, "No, sir, I didn't shoot anyone," and "I'm just a patsy." He would be murdered a few hours later.

   Oswald liked and admired President Kennedy, which even his detractors have acknowledged, so it
seems unlikely his CIA handlers could have persuaded him to shoot at JFK. Yet it appears at least one
shot was fired from the Depository window with a rifle that could be traced to him. The shot (or shots)
seemed to have served as both a diversion to draw attention away from the grassy knoll and to incriminate
Oswald.
                                                                                 :

   Oswald's actions in the immediate aftermath of the assassination indicate he was in no particular hurry
or panic, but may have been confused and apprehensive, having gotten off a city bus that was stalled in a
traffic jam to take a cab, then allowing an older women who had hailed the same taxi to take it while he
waited for the next one. Moreover, had he been the real and only assassin, he certainly had adequate time
and opportunity to head out of town and escape, since the police alert description of the assassin was so
vague it could have fit thousands of young white males. Instead, he reportedly went to his room, changed
out of his work clothes, tucked a pistol in his belt and headed out for what seemed to be a renezvous.
His landlady reported a police car came by, honked its horn as though to summon him, but Oswald had
already left. Suppose, however, that by then Oswald had begun to figure out he'd been set up as the fall-
guy for the shooting. Wouldn't he have sensed he was in grave danger and that his CIA cohorts would
have him killed rather than allow him to be captured and tell his story? The likely scenario then would
have been for Oswald to be arrested by a Dallas policeman who was part of the plot and have Oswald
shot to death during a supposed escape attempt. This may explain his reported confrontation with officer
Tippit, a Dallas patrol officer who was not where he was supposed to be when he met up with Oswald,
and the resultant killing of the policeman. Was Tippit sent by the plotters to kill Oswald? Did Oswald
shoot Tippit in order to save his own life? Only the plotters know for sure.

   Considering the circumstances, it seems certain Oswald would have been silenced one way or another.
The fact that he was gunned down, Mafia-style, by a Mafia stooge, Jack Ruby, only demonstrates how
desperate the CIA conspirators were to make sure he never got a chance to clear himself. Ruby, of course,
was a last minute addition to the conspiracy.

   But Oswald and Kennedy were not the only ones murdered: in 1964, almost a year later, Mary Pinchot
Meyer, the former wife of Cord Meyer, a high-level CIA official responsible for penetrating U.S. civilian
groups and very close associate of counterintelligence chief Angleton, was gunned down as she strolled
along the Potomic River near Georgetown (Washington, DC), a murder that shocked the city at the time.
Mary Meyer was a friend of Jackie Kennedy and there were reports she was telling Kennedy's widow
dirty secrets about the CIA, including her suspicions about its involvement in JFK's assassination.

    Shortly after Meyer was killed, a top-level CIA official was photographed sneaking out of her home
clutching her personal diary. The official was none other than James Jesus Angleton, and the
photographer happened to be working for The Washington Post newspaper. But the Post suppressed
the photo and story for more than a dozen years, long after Meyer's murder had been forgotten. And it
was another dozen years before it was revealed Angleton and famed Post editor Ben Bradley were buddies*,
and then only in a relatively obscure book about Angleton, Cold Warrior.

   * Angleton used to attend parties at Bradley's home, where he sopped up the booze and danced by
himself to Elvis Presley tunes, weaving around like a mock bullfighter. Bradley has claimed he didn't
discuss CIA matters with Angleton, but one doubts that the Counterintelligence head was invited for
his endearing social mannerisms or chit-chat about the Georgetown scene, considering Angleton's
chronic alcholism and bizarre political views. With those facts in mind,Angleton also emerges as the
leading candidate for the identity of the famous "Deep Throat" of the Watergate caper, the political
scandal that resulted in Nixon's ouster and everlasting fame and fortune for Bradley and his
reporters,Woodward and Bernstein.

     In any case, a year later a young black man who had been charged with Meyer's murder (another
patsy?) was acquitted after a jury trial, and thus the killing remains unsolved to this day. Years later,
Angleton went to his grave without revealing what was troublesome in her diary that he had to personally
raid her house to get it. At least one writer has speculated that Mary Meyer had been having an affair
with JFK and that Angleton was merely trying to protect the dead President's reputation. But Meyer
was close to Jackie, not Jack, and the truth is Angleton's minions were the ones that spread all the dirt
around about the late President's purported escapades.

                                                                                      :

    Clearly, the assassination was set up so that the Soviet Union and Cuba would come under suspicion
as the underlying causes of the crime. In doing so, the fanatical right-wingers within the CIA hoped to
ferment hostility toward the communist nations, thereby precluding any sort of peaceful coexistence with
either of them. But the Warren Commission was careful not to be led down the conspiratorial path,
ignoring or glossing over any indications that Oswald hadn't acted alone. The panel apparently feared
any hint of a conspiracy in Kennedy's murder would either push the country into a terrible war with the
Soviets, or, if the tracks led back into our own intelligence establishment, cause the American people to
lose faith in their own government. Thusly, some of the most honored and respected men in our nation
became accomplices to a murderous cover-up.

   As it was, Kennedy's murder plunged the country into an era of distrust in which many young people
"tuned in,turned on and dropped out." Kennedy's vigor and charm had sparked their hopes and dreams,
and his leadership had inspired them to believe it could all be like Camelot. But with Jack shockinly
assassinated, then Bobby, then Martin Luther King, a certain numbness and sense of futility set in.
Suddenly it seemed like goodness was being punished and wickedness exalted, as drugs and promiscuity
became the rage. Out of this rose the "welfare state", and the madness that became Viet Nam was defined
by the words of one combat officer: "It was necessary to destroy this village in order to save it."

   But the assassination had virtually nothing to do with Viet Nam, and was instead rooted in the personal
hatred the conspirators had for Kennedy. Although all the core conspirators were political fanatics, the
diabolical mastermind of the plot, James Jesus Angleton, is believed to have also been an agent of super-
powerful, European-based international financiers who perceived Kennedy as a threat to their own
interests. The irony is that Angleton saw everything through a hardened political perspective, whereas his
foreign masters were motivated mainly by greed, with a long history of manipulating hostilities and wars in
such a way as to reap monetary windfalls no matter what side won. (See the "Cold War" between the U.S.
and U.S.S.R./China aas a prime example; the U.S. nows pays over $200,000,000,000.+ a year in interest on the
money borrowed to buy weapons to wage a non-war.)

   In short, Angleton was to them what his own stooges were to him: unwaveringly loyal but often a
pawn in someone else's evil game.

   Although this would seem to widen the plot and make it vulnerable to leaks, the fact is we are still
dealing with a relatively small group of men whose vows of silence were more rigidly adhered to than
the Mafia's. Consider also that the primary plotters had the great advantage of being cloaked in CIA
secrecy, operating within the ultra-covert structure of the CIA's Domestic Operations Division, a unit
created in 1962 seemingly for the sole purpose of arranging the President's death. The D.O.D. included
the following: Tracy Barnes, the CIA official who had been in direct charge of the aborted Bay of Pigs
invasion of Cuba in 1961; E. Howard Hunt (later a Watergate burgler),a CIA officer forced out of the
Bay of Pigs operation by the Kennedys (Jack and Bobby) because of his right-wing fanaticism; and
Hans Tofte, a CIA paramilitary warfare "expert" who had assisted the slaughter of thousands of
peasants in South America.

   For those who may have forgotten, the Bay of Pigs operation was a poorly conceived attempt to
invade Cuba with CIA-trained and commanded Cuban expatriates. The plan originated during the
Eisenhower Administration, with Vice-President Richard Nixon acting as White House Action Officer
during the planning stages. After Kennedy's unexpected victory over Nixon in the 1960 election, the
CIA persuaded JFK to give the go-ahead, with the understanding the U.S. would not be directly involved
and the invasion would appear to be Cubans trying to liberate their own country. But the operation was
so poorly plotted and executed it appears the CIA officers all along were counting on putting Kennedy in
a position of having to save it by approving the use of U.S. military forces.

  But when the time came, Kennedy refused to unleash American aircraft carrier-based fighters, holding
the CIA to its promise that it would not seek overt U.S. intervention. Rather than accept responsibility
for their own failures, many of the CIA officials involved blamed President Kennedy. A year later, in 1962,
their resentment of Kennedy became even more bitter after JFK resolved the Cuban missile crisis by
secretly agreeing not to ever invade Cuba *again in return for the Soviets withdrawing their protective
missles from the island nation. In doing so, Kennedy had virtually signed his own death warrant.

  * Pre- Castro Cuba was a cesspool of narcotics, gambling and sexual wickedness. Why certain CIA
people were so eager to restore this den of iniquity will be explained in the full report.

   As for Jim Garrison's scenario of a CIA plot to kill Kennedy originating in New Orleans involving
David Ferrie and Clay Shaw (both with obtuse connections to the CIA), one would have to say
Garrison's heart was in the right place but his head was lost in a fog. The same could be said for Oliver
Stone, whose film "JFK" centered on Garrison's contentions.

  As District Attorney of New Orleans, Garrison thought he could use the power of his office to unravel
the conspiracy, at least as he percieved it. But he was just nibbling around the edges of the truth and
never even came close to uncovering any important facts or key points. In memorializing this misguided,
egomaniacal effort, Stone probably contributed more to the public's confusion than to its enlightenment.

  Stone and most of the people who have written about the assassination have never come to grips
with the fact Kennedy's wounds were reversed after the shooting, except to charge that the entire
autopsy and the resulting photographic evidence were frauds. Thus, they draw into the conspiracy
any number of military doctors and medical personnel, none of whom had any reason to lie or to
participate in such a dastardly deed. Then they have to draw in the military commanders of these men,
and soon its an entire Pentagon seething with conspirators--and naturally it would follow the war in
Viet Nam was all part of the plot. It's someone's paranoid fantacy gone wild!

  This confused line of thought ignores and obscures the research of David Lifton, whose body alteration
theory is the only one that adequately explains how Kennedy was shot from the front yet the evidence
now incriminates Oswald from the rear, otherwise an impossibility when all the facts are taken into account.

  In spite of this blindness, let's not be too harsh on the writers, for many of them have contributed
important pieces of the puzzle and have advanced the case toward a solution. Moreover, given the reports
of mysterious deaths and mayhem associated with the assassination, one can hardly fault anyone for not
zeroing in on the core killers. It seems safer to try to blame the CIA as a whole, or the Pentagon, or the
Mafia--and usually it's all three, spread out like a buffet from which the readers can heap their plates full
of favorite bad-guys.

   On the other hand, purveyors of the "official version" of the assassination ask us not to believe what
we can plainly see. For example, we look at the Zapruder film and see the President being slammed backward
by the impact of the fatal shot, and they try to convince us he was shot from behind and somehow his body
reacted in a way that violated the laws of phyics (the factor Lifton calls "Best Evidence"). Then we see the
bullet which supposedly ripped through Kennedy's neck and vertebrae, then Connally's chest, wrist and leg
and in the "official version" it emerges, after splitting bones and flesh, as pristine as a newborn baby. And
again they ask us to close our eyes and believe the impossible.

   Then we find out a motorcycle officer on the left rear side of the President's limo was hit with blood and
brain matter with such a force he thought he had been shot ,too. And once again they ask us to suspend
belief in the natural laws of the universe and accept the "official version."

   The "official version" requires us to believe Oswald was alone and a "nut," but (as the full report will
prove) he was neither one of those things. In fact, the most insane thing Oswald did was to believe in
America so completely he risked his life for it day after day, over and over. And, yes, in the end he was alone as
he was gunned down--betrayed by those in the government he had deeply trusted, and in death
rewarded by being portrayed as one of history's most horrible criminals.

   But the greatest tragedy is not the injustice done to Oswald, it is the fact his incrimination allowed the
real killers of America's beloved President to escape punishment, which in turn meant that a small group
of fanatics determined and controlled the fate of a country supposedly ruled by the consensus of its
citizens.

   CIA stooges and assorted boot-lickers will undoubtedly attack me and this paper,and will resort to
whatever dirty tricks they can employ to obfuscate the truth. They will try to persuade you not to trust
your own powers of deduction and ability to determine the facts. I ask only that you do.
